A little about the owners of Northland Landscape & Construction Inc:
Robert Kreft, President and Owner of Northland Landscape & Construction Inc., started his first company when he was 16 mowing lawns and plowing for both residential and commercial customers, which were located primarily in Minneapolis. While going to college at Dunwoody and receiving his degree in tool & die making, he still kept focus on his lawn and landscape business. He decided to pursue the trades and extend his career into a full service residential and commercial landscape/hardscape and construction company. He has now been in the business for almost 30 years and has no plans on retiring soon.
Stephanie Kreft decided to come and work for Northland Landscape & Construction back in 2008 initially as a laborer when she realized that having a job that was hands on and outdoors was what she really enjoyed doing. Over the years she both worked on the field with the others completing projects, primarily in the landscape department, as well as becoming the Secretary and accountant for the company. She actually liked the accountant and bookkeeping portion so much she decided to go back to college in 2017, and graduated with her Bachelor’s in Accounting degree in 2022. She still works for Northland Landscape & Construction full-time, now has her own accounting business, and works for a tax firm as well in the Spring.
Both are very dedicated to the company and the clients, not only short-term but long-term as well. It is a family based business that takes pride in every project that they do. Not only do they like to get to know their clients on a professional level, but on a personal level as well. They strive to go above and beyond their clients’ expectations when it comes to a renovation of any sort.
When Bob and Steph do get some down time, they enjoy gardening, salmon fishing, restoring vehicles and tractors, car shows, hunting, going to their cabin, and spending time with their dogs.

Northland Landscape & Construction Inc. has been working with their employees for more than 4 years now. Not only are they very serious and dedicated to their work, they like to have fun on the job site too! They are willing to take the time to answer and explain any questions that the homeowner may have during the process. They are as much of an asset to the company as the owners, and are very much appreciated within the company!
